Kavitha Rao M.D. is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist at Kaiser Permanente. She graduated from The University of Chicago Medical School. She completed her general psychiatry residency at UCSF and her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at UCLA. She has worked in multiple treatment settings including outpatient care, inpatient care, residential treatment, and day treatment. She is the co-chair of the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Regional ADHD Committee, working on best practices, and providing education and consultation. In her current practice she sees children, adolescents, and adults.
