Biography
I specialize in helping people cope with the challenges of living with cancer and other chronic medical conditions. As a UCLA-trained clinical health psychologist, I have expertise in treating depression, anxiety, and other experiences that often accompany a medical diagnosis including loss of identity, uncertainty about the future, and changes in close relationships. I also have advanced training in stress management, chronic pain management, and helping people make healthy lifestyle changes.
I use a variety of evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to directly target distressing symptoms and improve overall well-being. Working together, we will find the best approach to fit your strengths, goals, and values. I provide a supportive, warm, and non-judgmental space for clients to wrestle with change, gain insights, and find meaning.
Please call or email me to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to find out if I am a good fit for your needs. I look forward to talking with you soon.
