Contra Costa Psychological Association hosts quarterly dinner meetings and other events which are open to members of CCPA, as well as non-members (members receive a discount). Meetings and events are centrally located in Contra Costa County. The dinner meetings include a wine and beverage reception, full course dinner and presentation. Topics presented cover a wide range of issues relevant to the practice of psychology and in the past have included "Brain Changes with Depression", "Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder", "Behavioral Alternatives to Medication" and "Clinical Approaches to High Conflict Couples". These meetings provide an excellent opportunity to network with local colleagues, and to remain informed of the broader issues important to psychology both regionally and nationally.

The CCPA is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education credits for psychologists. CCPA maintains responsibility for its program contents.

Speakers who are interested in presenting on their topic of expertise are encouraged to contact the programs chair. (Speakers receive their dinner at no cost.)
