  Contra Costa Psychological Association

The Contra Costa Psychological Association is an active group of professionals committed to advancing the science and profession of psychology and serving Contra Costa County.

Our Information and Referral Service (I&R) is a free public service that provides information about the practice of psychology, and referrals to local licensed psychologists and other appropriate mental health services. All the professionals in our network are highly trained and licensed psychologists who provide a variety of specialized practices.

By browsing our Network Directory, you can read about the varied practices and see pictures of the psychologists in our network to see who might meet your needs. You can also use our online search, Find A Psychologist, to find the psychologist who will be the best match for you. Our psychologists are also available through our confidential Phone Service (925 939-9024) to answer questions and help you find the psychological services that will be right for you.

To further serve the community, our Disaster Response Committee provides member psychologists to assist with both local and national emergencies.

The CCPA also strives to meet the needs of our members. We offer training and workshops throughout the year to help our members keep up with continuing education requirements. Our quarterly dinner meetings offer members the opportunity to network, to present their work, and to stay current with new literature and treatment practices. We also provide a newsletter, email listserve and Members' Corner to keep our association connected and growing.
